Four Seasons Program

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Information on how to enter the Four Seasons Program ("Program") and promotional item details forms part of these Terms and Conditions of Entry. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions in invalid. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and conditions.
  2. The organiser and promoter of the Program is Vero Insurance Limited, ABN 48 005 297 807, of 465 Victoria Avenue, Chatswood, NSW, 2067 Australia. Ph. 02 9978 2894 ("Company").
  3. The Program is only open to those persons who are insurance brokerages or employees of those brokerages who have been invited by the Company to participate in the Program ("Participant"). An entry from a person who is not from one of the invited brokerages will be refused participation in the Program at the Company's sole discretion. In entering the Program all Participants agree not to pass on or facilitate the entry of any person into the Program outside of their brokerage.
  4. The number of Participants in the Program is limited to 500 persons. The Company will only accept one registration per person. All entrants must be residents of Australia and over the age of 18 years. Employees of the Company and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. Participants must register their participation by entering their details at the website http://fourseasons.vero.com.au.
  5. The Program is a year long program which consists of four separate promotional periods representing the seasons of the year ("Season/s"). These are:
    • Season - Winter - 13 July 2009 to 30 September 2009
    • Season - Spring - 6 October to 18 December 2009
    • Season - Summer - 11 January 2009 to 31 March 2010
    • Season - Autumn - 8 April 2010 to 30 June 2010
      Each Season ends at 5pm, Australian Eastern Standard Time on the last applicable date.
  6. During each Season, a Participant will have the opportunity to answer six questions relating to information about the Company and its products (an "entry"). If the Participant answers the questions correctly they will be able to choose one of two gifts ("promotional items") available in that Season.
  7. In order to redeem a promotional item in any one Season, the Participant must make an entry before the expiration of the applicable Season. An entry received after the expiration of the Season will not be entitled to choose a promotional item.
  8. Entries are to be submitted via the online entry process at the website http://fourseasons.vero.com.au.
    No responsibility is taken for late, lost or misdirected entries.
  9. Participants must provide their email, name, address, town/city, state and phone on the Four Seasons website to receive their promotional item. The promotional item will be posted to them at the address provided.
  10. The promotional items which will be offered will vary from Season to Season. In the event the stock of any one promotional item runs out, the Participant will be unable to choose that promotional item and will be provided with the alternative promotional item in that Season. In the unlikely event that stock runs out of both promotional items in any one Season, the Company will advise the Participants and an alternative promotional item of near or equal value will be provided as part of the Program. Items are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Items will be replaced with the same promotional item if available or an alternative item, if they arrive damaged as long as the original item is returned to the Company.
  11. The Autumn season promotion commences on 08/04/10 and concludes at 5pm on 30/06/10, Australian Eastern Standard Time. For the Autumn Season the promotional items are either a leather wine carrier (valued at $38.50), or a picnic blanket (valued at $22.65.)
  12. The Company is not the owner or operator of the website http://fourseasons.vero.com.au ("Site") which is used for the Program. The Company excludes to the fullest extent permissible by applicable laws, all liability for any claims, losses, demands and damages arising directly or indirectly out of or in any way connected with the use of the Site, the Site’s unavailability or interruption or as a result of choosing and taking the promotional item. This exclusion shall apply in respect of, without limitation, any interruption of services, lost profits, loss of contracts or business opportunity, loss of data or any consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages arising from use of the Site or the promotional items, whether arising in contract, tort, under statute or otherwise. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Company reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Program.
  13. As the Company is not the owner or operator of the Site, the Company is not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any communications network or any late, lost, incorrectly submitted, delayed, ineligible, incomplete, corrupted or misdirected entries and does not make any warranty or guarantee that the Site will be fully operating or error free.
  14. The website http://fourseasons.vero.com.au is owned and operated by a hosting company called Ilisys and the Participant will also be subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the hosting company. The Company has entered into arrangements with a marketing company to procure these hosting services.   15. The Company reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  16. All entries become the property of the Company. The Company collects participant's personal information in order to conduct the Program. The Company will use and disclose personal information in accordance with the Privacy Statement [http://fourseasons.vero.com.au/privacy]. If the information requested is not provided, the Participant may not be able to enter the Program or redeem a promotional item. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Company.

    Please note these Terms and Conditions may be revised and reissued without notice at any time by updating this posting and by making an entry or participating in the Program, the Participant acknowledges that no liability shall attach to the Company and that the Participant has no right to claim compensation as a result thereof. The Participant should visit this page regularly to review the current Terms and Conditions, since continued use of the Site or the making of an entry will be deemed as irrevocable acceptance of any revisions.
