This is the Privacy Statement for Vero Insurance Limited (ABN 48 005 297 807) ("Company") in respect of the Four Seasons Program ("Program") This Privacy Statement forms a part of the Terms and Conditions for the Program and should be read in conjunction with those Terms and Conditions.

The website http://fourseasons.com.au ("Site") is neither owned nor operated by the Company, however, the Company has arrangements with the owner/operator of the website which enable the Company to organise and promote the Program via the Site. As no data transmission over the Internet can be completely secure, Participants should consider this when and if a Participant decides to provide personal information via this Site.

All entries into the Program and the supply of personal information as part of the Program or when registering to be included in the Program, to the extent permitted by law, becomes the property of the Company.

The Company collects a Participant's personal information for the purposes of conducting the Program, including sending information about the Program, about the Company more generally and the products and services which the Company provides. This includes keeping Participants informed via emails where the Participant provides their email address. If the information requested is not provided, the Participant may not be able to participate in the Program or redeem a promotional item.

By entering the promotion via the Site, unless otherwise advised, each Participant also agrees that their personal information may be disclosed to and collected from the following types of persons:

Other companies in the Suncorp Group;
Marketing agencies who have arrangements with the Company to send messages and information relating to the Program to Participants;
Web developers and/or information technology providers, who have arrangements with the Company to develop, maintain and/or host the Site.

By using the Site a Participant:

Consents to personal information provided to the Company to register the Participant on the Site, being used and disclosed for these purposes;
Consents to the creation and maintenance of a database record about the Participant; and
Understands the Site may use cookies on the Participant’s browser.

A Participant can request access to their personal information the Company holds about them by contacting the Company. If accessing your personal information will take an extended period of time, the Participant will be informed of any likely delay.

There are circumstances under which the Company may not agree to allow the Participant access to some or all of their personal information. In such cases, the Company will provide a reason for the decision. The Company may charge for the cost of providing access. If such a charge applies, the Company will inform you before proceeding with the request.

As notes the Site is owned and operated by a hosting company called Ilisys and the Participant will also be subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the hosting company. The Company has entered into arrangements with a marketing company to procure these hosting services.
